My work is about making your own fun when there isn't much else to do. This year I've tried to work with as many materials as possible, but it became a bit overwhelming. After taking a quick break, I pulled myself together and decided to draw faces on just about anything and everything. I started going through some old photos and eventually moved on to taking new pictures of things that were both indoors and outdoors.

With the pictures I had photographed, I took it upon myself to draw arms, legs and faces on the objects – just because I could. Using digital drawing methods, I managed to make characters out of the ordinary, so those things had feelings and emotions. But I also did it to make other people smile. It's important to share with one another, but it's even more important to lift each other up.
