How’s it supposed to feel? speaks to my recent separation from my partner of six years.
What began as a self-serving project in search of a solution to my own grief became an enquiry into a more universal experience of loss, a sensation that holds no singular form, and which does not discriminate.
Through a series of performative self-portraits that obscure specific identity, I sought to demonstrate ways in which loss reveals our frailty and argue that this is sometimes vital to the healing process.
