Holly Goodridge
I am a Melbourne-based contemporary multi-disciplinary artist producing documents that occur at the intersection of painting, sculptural objects and performance. Through a lens of absurdist humour, my work explores art activities that occur outside of institutional frameworks by staging art interventions within spaces that have a narrowly defined purposes eg. supermarkets, bus stops, trains, bathrooms and food courts. I have explored similar ideas and methodologies in the RMIT Gallery’s student-led exhibition Museum of Me, and in an upcoming show to be held in Melbourne Central’s Light Boxes.
