My works are primarily amalgamations of personal experience and memory woven together through culture, mythology and their respective symbolisms.

Dabbling almost exclusively in pen, I would like to believe that I’ve translated a myriad of things into an illustrative form (which I sometimes digitally collage).

My work often wrestles with the concept of 'good damage' – taking past damage and transforming it into something ‘good’ by constructively helping yourself or others. Perhaps the damage wasn’t worth the trade, but ultimately it’s about making the best out of a bad situation...

Well, I hope to have achieved that through reflection and my practice, which represents personal interpretations of my history with anorexia, and everything that comes with it. As life experiences are entirely unique to everyone, I hope my work is also useful to others and their experiences and perspectives.
