When words fail, pictures speak. I have never asked for help because I never wanted to bother another with my issues. So I kept to myself. I also kept my images and photographs to myself. I never wanted another person to see me vulnerable. And if no-one asked to see my work, I didn’t offer.

It is through my work Reflection that I realised being vulnerable is not a bad thing.

This project emerged through my rollercoaster of emotions during a time where I needed the most help in my life but the person who was supposed to be there for me wasn't. In a nutshell, Reflection operates like a mirror and highlights my raw emotional and vulnerable side. By portraying the delicacy of emotions within a human being through nature, each picture can work alone but together they represent a world beyond what is normally seen.
