Nothin’ much.

2020, what a shit show. It feels like the most
uncertain and stationary lap around the sun yet.

The Andrews government delivered its
oppressive response to the COVID crisis.

Total lockdown; leaving me cut-off indefinitely.

The bleak reality of these new parameters had left me with nothin’ much to work with.

Going into the second lockdown on August 2nd; this time a far more restrictive ‘Stage 4’, I found myself uninspired with the course and unmotivated to create work. Instead, I was spending vast amounts of time trying to extract the truth from the world wide web.

Stuck in this overwhelming state of distraction I devised the most cunning of exit strategies; a 2-week bender.

Across the many late nights, numerous DnM’s and carefree reflective moments, I had an epiphany: what if I could harness the feeling of being uninspired to inspire me to create work?

I felt it was time to take the road less travelled.

COVID hadn’t got me yet, I was still alive and very well, and it seemed fitting to take the piss out of the whole situation.

The following collection is of my dystopian day to day. Images which normally wouldn’t make the cut, have. This is reflective of how 2020 didn’t quite go according to plan..
