As a photographer and artist, I create work about the earth and for the earth. My current project comments on our relationships with nature using both natural earthbound materials such as clay and newer man-made photographic elements.

For this project, a singular landscape along the Victorian coast became a space to photographically explore textures, shapes, patterns and forms of the natural environment. The stand alone site created a ground for inspecting the small shifts in terrain and how these formations act independently but integrally to the overall aesthetic of the location.

These images, merged with ceramic components, work to both highlight environmental factors while juxtaposing their remote nature within these landscapes, much like the way humans continue to interfere with the environment around them.
