I work across sculpture and installation using a vast array of mediums, including plaster and clay. My practice involves experimentation with various materials and methodological processes to produce works that are material manifestations of the complexity and richness of my actions. I employ extensive research to establish a deeper understanding of concepts around geological landscape, objects, deep time, decision making theory and psychology, which allows me to authentically and expressively translate them into physical form.

My final series of works explores my concepts through the lens of post-minimalism and process-based art, rejecting pre-determined plans and embracing contingency. The execution of my process is initiated by making clay waste moulds that I then pour plaster into. These steps are in all or parts of the works, allowing evidence of the process to gently yet inevitably remain visible. My commitment to these particular steps and actions has become a crucial component of my work, and its ultimate outcome remains unknown until the final moment the clay is removed. The processes forfeit control to allow a revelation of plaster casts and structures that have indented, repetitive and textural surfaces.
