Sarah Bryant
My work investigates childhood memories and the changes in my life after living in my family home for 21 years – which also changed over time. This series combines an archival style with commercial photography to give the images an investigative feeling. Viewers will see the changes throughout my home and my family as they have grown.
I am very interested in commercial photography and working in a studio environment as I love using different approaches towards lighting and style. While I enjoy photographing still life and lifestyle imagery, I also enjoy architectural photography because I am very interested in design.
I enjoy creating work that is unique and breaks the standard rules of photography. It is semi-abstract in order to create a sense of curiosity for the viewer.
