My practice is guided by a deep interest in the intersection between the mundane and the cosmic across human lives, and the revelation that is generated when attention is paid to the convergence of these physical and temporal scales.

Working across metalsmithing and sculptural installation, I often draw on a metallic, geological palette to re-configure familiar forms into otherworldly monuments. By extricating objects from the ordinary facts of life, I aim to disrupt normal rhythms of perception to provide an opportunity for revelation.

The oven that is 11am, Ocean Oven and 田 Tian (Field) are works that are concerned with reconciling the deep time of our planetary context, with small moments of personal memory and everyday bureaucracy.
