Hi and welcome to Grad Fest 2020. I'm Dr Kristen Sharp, the Associate Dean of Art here in the school.

I want to congratulate all our students on the incredible work that they've produced this year in the most extraordinary circumstances. Their experimental and unique bodies of work have been made in a range of spaces and environments off campus. Their adaptation, innovation and risk-taking with ideas and materials has been a highlight of this year.

I also want to thank our teaching staff, our academic supervisors and our technical and professional staff who have all supported, guided and enabled our students throughout this year. And I want to thank the students’ personal communities who have supported them outside of RMIT. We've all drawn together as a community this year, and we've demonstrated the importance and resilience of art in the world today.

Please join me in participating in this Grad Fest as we reimagine what a grad show is in 2020.
